Buttercup Creek is a neighborhood on the west side of Round Rock, Texas, which is near Austin. Major roads in the area include South Bell Boulevard, Cypress Creek Road and Buttercup Creek Boulevard. Neighborhood residents travel around the city by car as there isn't a public transportation system. 

This mostly residential neighborhood is filled with homes and apartments, as well as independently owned businesses, giving it a suburban feel. There are several parks in the area, including Lake Line Park, Nelson Ranch Park, Creekside Park, Cluck Creek Park and the Buttercup Creek Natural Area. All are great places to enjoy the warm Austin weather. The average high temperatures range from about 65 degrees Fahrenheit in winter to around 95 degrees in summer. 

The Cedar Park Youth League is a children's baseball league that plays and practices in Buttercup Creek. Neighborhood residents who have kids can sign them up for this team sport. The league has teams that play both baseball and softball. 

Pet owners will find plenty of businesses in Buttercup Creek that are geared toward animals. The Happy Trails Pet Resort is a great place to board your dog if you go out of town and Bark Busters will come to your home or apartment to help train your dog.
