Power Ranch is a neighborhood on the southeast side of Gilbert, Ariz., which is just east of Mesa and Phoenix. Major motorways in the area include South Power Road, East Queen Creek Road, East Germann Road and East Pecos Road. Neighborhood residents can travel throughout the city by car or use the train line that runs along the eastern border of Power Ranch.
There are plenty of ways to enjoy the warm Arizona weather in the neighborhood. You can head to one of the many area parks or take a walk along the hiking and biking trail that snakes through Power Ranch. A public pool sits in the northern section of the area, and it's a great way to cool off during the summer when average temperatures can reach nearly 105 degrees Fahrenheit.
Though mostly residential, the neighborhood is home to a variety of businesses, including shops, restaurants, supermarkets and chain stores. While restaurants sit on the perimeter of Power Ranch, doctors' offices and service companies are further inward.
This quiet area attracts many families, especially those who enjoy living near schools. Power Ranch is home to Centennial Elementary School, Kinderbugs Preschool, The Goddard School and Power Ranch Elementary School.
