Sundance is a neighborhood located in Buckeye, a charming town situated just west of Phoenix. The area was named by its Ohio settlers in the late 1800s. The community is bordered to the north by Interstate 10. It is just a 30-minute trip to downtown Phoenix, and most residents in the area commute by car.
This area enjoys a small town atmosphere with amenities that can only be found in the major metropolitan areas. Residents have access to outdoor swimming pools, an 18-hole championship golf course and a 15,000 square foot recreation center. Social activities are offered daily by the community center, including bingo, pickleball, card games, sock hops, ice cream socials and craft classes.
Several elementary schools, a high school and Estrella Community College, which offers classes to active adults, call Sundance home.
Nearly medical facilities include West Valley Hospital, Alliance Urgent Care and West Valley Emergency Facility.
Sundance features plenty of pedestrian and multipurpose trails for hiking, biking and walking. The stunning views of White Tank Mountain and Estrella Mountain are reason enough to get outside in the warm Arizona sun and enjoy the landscaped beauty of the neighborhood.
