Coolidge Corner is a western neighborhood of Boston, located south of Brighton Avenue. The neighborhood's eastern border is the Muddy River and the southern border goes along Aspinwall Avenue, on the outskirts of the Central Village neighborhood. Other major roads include the Massachusetts Turnpike and Beacon Street. Coolidge Corner is only a 20-minute commute from downtown Boston by car or train via the Green Line.
Coolidge Corner is near the historic Fenway Park, home of the Boston Red Sox. Other attractions close by include the Fenway Victory Gardens, the Mary Baker Eddy Library and the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. The Fenway Victory Gardens are continuously taken care of by the community,with over 500 World War II victory gardens spanning over 7.5 acres, providing a great natural getaway in the same neighborhood as the celebrated ballpark. The Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum was designed as an architectural work of beauty and houses a beautiful courtyard, contemporary art and rotating exhibitions.
Within the Coolidge Corner neighborhood there are several recreational parks and a wide array of restaurants and delicatessens.Coolidge Corner is also home to the John F. Kennedy National Historic Site, the childhood home of our 35th president.
