Crooked Creek is a neighborhood in the far north section of Indianapolis. Major nearby roads include Interstate 65, USS Indianapolis Memorial Highway and Michigan Road. Neighborhood residents can rely on a vehicle to travel throughout the city or take a bus. 

Crooked Creek is named for the stream that cuts through the area. Enjoy the outdoors by hiking along Crooked Creek or by visiting one of several parks. Broadmoor Country Club is located in the southern section of the neighborhood. Members of all skill levels can play a game of golf or lounge in the club house, which has swimming pools, pool tables and more.

Wish Park in north Crooked Creek is the perfect place to walk the dog or go for a jog. Though Indianapolis gets cold in winter, the average high temperatures in summer hover around 85 degrees Fahrenheit, making for a mild season. 

The neighborhood offers a few shopping and dining opportunities. West Lane and Plaza 71 shopping centers are on the west side of Crooked Creek. Chain stores, such as Walmart and Starbucks, are farther southeast. 

This mostly residential neighborhood has several private schools and public schools. Families living in Crooked Creek will be able to send their kids to a school close to home.
