Eagledale is a neighborhood on the northwest side of Indianapolis. Major nearby roads include the USS Indianapolis Memorial Highway, Interstate 65 and Lafayette Road. Neighborhood residents can travel throughout the city via car, train or bus. Driving to the downtown district is a short 15-minute ride. 

The Indianapolis Public Library's Eagle Branch is located in Eagledale. The library offers free Wi-Fi access, tons of books, CDs and movies, meeting rooms and events. For example, you can attend a job-finding workshop or learn about gardening through reading how-to books with your neighbors.

Eagledale is home to a few stores and restaurants. There's a Big Lots store located in the southern part of the neighborhood and a Value World clothing store to the north. You can eat at a pizza place or Mexican restaurant in Eagledale, to name a few options.

The neighborhood has several schools, including Clarence Farrington Elementary School, Carl Wilde Elementary School, Imagine Indiana Life Sciences Academy West and the Indiana Math and Sciences Academy.

This mostly residential neighborhood is filled with tree-lined streets and several parks. Indianapolis temperatures reach about 85 degrees Fahrenheit in summer, making it a perfect time of year to enjoy the Eagledale neighborhood by riding your bike, walking your dog or picnicking in one of the park areas.
