East Meadowbrook is a neighborhood on the east side of Fort Worth, Texas, which is near Dallas. Major roads in the area include Tom Landry Freeway, Interstate 820 and Meadowbrook Drive. Neighborhood residents can travel throughout the city via car or bus. The downtown district is a short 15-minute drive from East Meadowbrook.

The Meadowbrook Golf Course is located in the neighborhood and is one of the busiest city-run courses in Fort Worth. Residents can play through 18 holes at a par of 71, then relax at the club house, which has both a pro shop and a snack hub. The weather in the area is great for golf. The average high temperatures range from about 55 degrees Fahrenheit in winter to approximately 95 degrees in summer. 

This mostly residential neighborhood is home to a few shops and businesses, many of which cater to pets or home needs. You'll also find a coffee shop in the south section of East Meadowbrook. 

Eastern Hills Elementary School, which is part of the Fort Worth Independent School District, is located in the neighborhood.

The Historic Handley Railroad is on the east side of East Meadowbrook. Handley used to be its own town before it became part of Fort Worth. A historic railroad still exists and you can go visit the site.
