The Montbello neighborhood of Denver is a diverse community located on the city's far northeast side. Known for its suburban feel, the area attracts young families, singles, professionals and retirees. There's a place in Montbello for everyone.

With spectacular views of Mount Evans, Long's Peak and the Continental Divide, the Montbello area was named "beautiful mountain" for obvious reasons. Developers titled Montbello after a mountain region in the Italian Alps with the same name. Residents wake up to a breathtaking view of the mountains.

The neighborhood has reliable public transportation for those without car. There is also little traffic to worry about for those who do own a vehicle. Most local restaurants offer Wi-Fi, so you can do work while sipping on your favorite espresso drink. The library is another great place to hook up to the Internet free of charge. The Montbello Public Library offers classes and hosts community events as well.

Head to the Montbello Recreation Center for a good workout. With a lap pool and tons of equipment, the center is the best spot to engage in fitness classes and programs.

The west side of the neighborhood is home to restaurants and shopping. The Northfield Mall features specialty shops, restaurants and bars for the serious-minded shopper.
