The neighborhood of North Beach in Jacksonville, Florida, is located on the city's easternmost edge. Its borders are defined by the Intracoastal Waterway, Wonderwood Drive, Florida A1A and Dutton Island Road. The easiest way to travel throughout North Beach is by vehicle.

Parks and recreation is popular in North Beach and many residents head to Kathryn Abbey Hanna and Modesky parks. Kathryn Abbey Hanna Park is located along the shores of the Atlantic Ocean and features 1.5 miles of sandy beach with several access points to the water. It's also a premier surfing spot for Northeast Florida. There are more than 20 miles of trails for bikers and hikers, a 60-acre lake for watersports and a kids splash park for hot summer days at Kathryn Abbey Hanna Park. At Modesky Park, you'll find space for walkers and joggers as well as a picnic area.

You'll find numerous storefronts in North Beach at the Shoppes of Lakeside shopping center as well as at TT Thrift and Antique Shop. 

Mayport Elementary, Finegan Elementary and Mayport Coastal Sciences Middle schools are located in North Beach.
