Head over to Santa Susana Mountains State Park when the weather is perfect – which is most of the time. This mountainous area is located just west of Northridge. You can look down on your neighborhood while hiking the elevated trails. A steep path – later named Devil's Slide – was carved into the mountains around 1860. Despite its name, Devil's Slide leads hikers up the trail to a beautiful view.
