Park Forest is a neighborhood in Plano, Texas, which is just north of Dallas. Major roads in the area include West Spring Creek Parkway, Alma Drive and Highway 75. Neighborhood residents travel throughout the area via car or bus. A train line runs just east of Park Forest. 

Big Lake Park is located on the western edge of the neighborhood, near Spring Creek. The park is a great place to picnic, walk the dog, or go for a jog on Chisholm Trail. You can hike or bike along the trail heading both north and south. 

Park Forest is a mostly residential neighborhood that houses several schools, including Precious Beginnings Montessori Academy, Christie Elementary School and Carpenter Middle School. 

The southern edge of Park Forest features a shopping center that contains a coffee shop, animal clinic, pharmacy and dollar store. You'll find a few construction companies and doctors' offices scattered throughout the area. There's a bar to the north of Park Forest and additional shopping and dining to the northeast. 

The charm of Park Forest lies in the tree-lined streets and its proximity to Highway 75. This motorway will take you into the heart of Dallas and through other neighborhoods.
