South Perry is a neighborhood in Indiana that's located just 25 minutes south of downtown Indianapolis. Most of the residents in the area commute by car. The main roadways include Interstate 465, which runs east and west through the community, and Interstate 65 that runs north and south.
There are two public elementary schools located in South Perry, including Winchester Village Elementary School and Mary Bryan Elementary School. A number of private schools serve the students there, such as the International School of Indiana (which is a pre-k through high school facility), St. Luke Elementary, Curtis Wilson Primary, Horizon Christian School (another pre-k through high school) and Joy Tabernacle Christian Academy. Several universities have campuses in South Perry including DePauw, Butler, Indiana and Anderson universities, as well as Franklin College.
Residents of South Perry enjoy a range of temperatures throughout the year. Summer highs reach about 85 degrees Fahrenheit, and can dip into the 60s on cooler days. In the winter, temperatures can get below freezing, but also reach into the mid 40s.
