Cobbs Creek is a historic Philadelphia neighborhood with plenty of green space.

Cobbs Creek is a historic west Philadelphia neighborhood that is just a short subway ride from downtown, making the workday commute very manageable. However, most Cobbs Creek residents choose to take the bus to work. Bordered by Market Street to the north and U.S. Route 13 to the south, Cobbs Creek is perfectly situated for residents to travel in and out of the city if they so choose.

Real estate in the neighborhood is primarily composed of small homes and apartment buildings. Residents with kids love having The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia Primary Care Center and Mercy Philadelphia Hospital in the area.

Malcolm X Park is just one of several green spaces in the neighborhood. Cobbs Creek Park, which runs along the neighborhood's western border, covers more than 700 acres of creek, forest and trails – all within the urban metropolis of Philadelphia. Each fall, the Cobbs Creek 5K is held in the park. The Cobbs Creek Golf Course is also a popular destination.

There are numerous churches within the borders of Cobbs Creek. There are also several schools, so children living in the neighborhood don't have to walk far to go to class.
