Sandalwood is a neighborhood in Jacksonville, Florida, that lies on the eastern side of the city. You can access the area via Interstate 295 (also known as the East Beltway 295) Atlantic Boulevard and U.S. Route 90.
The Kernan Village shopping mall in Sandalwood features numerous retails stores, such as Shoe Carnival and Atlantic West. Academy Sports and Outdoors is located across Atlantic Boulevard from Kernan Village. Many residents grocery shop at Walmart Super Center located off Kernan Boulevard.

Additional offerings at the academy include emergency medical services (EMS) certification and industrial fire brigade training.
