Inner Sunset is a neighborhood next to Golden Gate Park in San Francisco.

Inner Sunset is a neighborhood on the southwest side of San Francisco. Major roads in the area include Lincoln Way, 19th Avenue, 14th Avenue and Ortega Street. Neighborhood residents can travel throughout the city via car, bus or light-rail train. It takes about 15 minutes to drive to the Pacific Coast from the center of Inner Sunset, and approximately 10 minutes to drive to the downtown district.

Mt. Sutro Open Space Reserve is located on the east side of the neighborhood. This hillscape is covered with trees and maintained by the University of California, San Francisco. Residents can hike the many winding trails and view redwoods and eucalyptus trees.

The corner of 9th and Irving streets is the social hub of Inner Sunset. You'll find gourmet dinning opportunities and unique shops within a few blocks of this intersection. You can even get there via light rail, making it a convenient hang-out spot.

Golden Gate Park borders the northern edge of Inner Sunset and is full of cultural experiences. The park's 1,017 acres is home to the Conservatory of Flowers, the de Young Museum, a Japanese tea garden, the San Francisco Botanical Garden and so much more. 

The USCF Medical Center and School of Dentistry is also located in Inner Sunset.
